“The switch from a digital telephone system to a VoIP system can be daunting, overwhelming, and confusing, but Curtis and Felicity helped make our transition none of those things. They met with us initially at their office and provided a very informative demonstration of the VoIP options available to us, both systems and hardware, explaining in as much detail as we could handle at that point what was available. Once we started in the actual process of ordering and putting the phones in our City, Matt and Felicity were amazing to work with, too. There was very little interruption in service as they converted the phones. Matt brought the phones early for staff to learn how to use them before they went live and directed us on how to set up call flows and phone scripts. The training was great and documentation of all the steps were provided.

We have had the phones for about a month. They are wonderful. It is different from what we were used to, so there is a learning curve. I know that the information that we need to capture is happening.

“Thank you for your visit to walk through our new phone installation yesterday. We have the luxury of a regular weekday closure: your installers worked with me to schedule the work during that downtime. They quickly assessed the current configuration of our legacy PBX and determined how to configure the new one. They swapped out the old system for the new with minimal downtime, even while re-punching our cabling to provide a more logical layout.

Our new phone system was configured to act as much like the old one as possible: only better. People using it over the weekend and on Monday had no difficulties performing basic functions. Matt came in on Tuesday to do a training with our staff. He was very thorough, using hands-on examples, and patiently answered all questions. When he left our staff felt more comfortable with the new phones than they had with the old ones!

Our staff is happy to have new phones that are more intuitive and more functional than the old ones. I am happy to have new phones that are more easily configured (via Windows client as well as via handset) and more easily expanded (using digital phones where they are already wired and VOIP phones elsewhere). If we decide to move away from traditional copper lines phone service, I understand our new system will be ready for that as well. The Mitel configuration you provided us is perfectly suited to the size and needs of our organization.

As a non-profit organization funded by donations, cost is a big concern for us. I calculate that in a very few years, the new system will pay for itself in saved maintenance costs relative to our legacy system. So even though the old system functioned adequately, the new one feels like a win in every way.
